Since joining the Group in May 2016, Dr Janovic has continued to practice as a GP from Mooroolbark Medical Centre whilst fulfilling the more broad-spectrum areas in his role as CMO Victoria.
Dr Janovic said the decision to merge his practice into the Group was based on more than just the financial appeal. “Joining the Qualitas Health Group has given me the freedom to focus on the medical side of things without having the concerns associated with running a practice that has been especially helpful in the pandemic.”
“We have never had an issue, we have always had PPE, we were an early adopter of shields out the front and signage, done early on and quite seamlessly and the provision of the ability to do video conferencing rolled out quickly.” Said Dr Janovic.
His focus as CMO for VIC is to grow the Qualitas health presence in the state. Dr Janovic recognises that expansion is more successful when homage is paid to the unique attributes of each practice, such as the 100-year-old site at Ivanhoe Medical Clinic or the purpose-built site at Mooroolbark Medical Centre. He says, what Qualitas Health does well as a brand is to recognise “it’s about ensuring a high standard of care across varying sites and demographics.”
“As the CMO for Victoria, I enjoy providing support to all doctors in both clinical and non-clinical matters as part of my role as well as organising regular clinical meetings to ensure all practices can implement best practice at all times.”
